| Soul Nudge Editorial |
By Mildred Lynn | 5 July 2005 |
Are your ready to paddle your own canoe?
From coast-to-coast, people are pumped about Life Force (Qi) Energy. What is it? It’s the “light consciousness” that enters the body at birth, puts the high voltage sparkle in your eyes, and connects you to the Universe at large. Amazing Stuff!
Once discovered, many are intrigued with the “how to” of harnessing mind, body and spirit Life Force Energy, and eager to use it to fuel their Life Purpose Road Map (even if the Life Purpose is foggy).
For some, working with Life Force Energy is as natural as breathing; for others, tapping into this vital energy needs to be relearned, activated and joyfully put into motion. From what I’ve observed along the happy trail, both paths are equally fulfilling and loaded with fun and self-discovery!
The fun part is that once people “get it”, they tend to run merrily off in all directions --- inner directions that is, because the possibilities are limitless. The essential beauty of the Life Force Energy process is that it meets you where you are, builds courage and trust, and best of all, the only thing you need to bring to the table is integrity and willingness to be open to YOU. It’s that simple. So, are you ready to paddle your own canoe?
This issue of SoulNudge Creates! is pulsating with inspiration from heartbeats (people) who have successfully applied their abilities to their life’s work.
New! What people are saying!

| Set Your Dreams In Motion! Interview with Kimberly Wiefling |
Interviewed by Mildred Lynn | 5 July 2005 |
| Kimberly Wiefling is the Founder and Principal of Wiefling Consulting headquartered in Redwood City, California. Building on a diverse and successful career in Silicon Valley, she is living her dream of empowering industry leaders to create people-centered, extraordinary workplaces based on quality of life. What series of awakenings created the motto “Conceive it. Believe it. Achieve it.” We asked Kimberly. |
When did you have a SoulNudge? |
| In 1995, I attended a workshop with an amazing woman named Barbara Fittipaldi. I was working in an environment that didn’t feel welcoming of my creativity and spirit. Up until then, I protected myself from the frustration of feeling stifled by pretending that I had no control over the situation, and becoming a jaded know-it-all. After making a self-deprecating comment during a break, Barbara said “Kimberly, you don’t own your own power! Don’t let me hear you undermining yourself again.”
This was my wake up call. Somebody saw my potential and cared about how I treated myself – even more than I did. Eventually, it sunk in that “I’m the boss of me” and that I had the power, capability and responsibility to make life choices that could change things for the better. |
What resources helped you live your dream? |
| The encouragement and support of others has been the single most important resource in helping me live my dream. I’ve found that people are delighted to help those who show initiative, are willing to work towards their dreams, and appreciate the help of others. In fact, the bigger my dream, the more people were willing, even EAGER, to help! As I conjured up bigger, bolder dreams, people and resources appeared to nurture and help them grow beyond even my imaginings. |
What life lessons did you learn? |
| Our perception and language conjure our reality to a far greater extent than I ever imagined. We make up stories to explain our lives, and we create scenarios of what our future may bring through worry and fear. If we live our fears, we create our worst nightmares. If we imagine and declare magnificent possibilities, even though they seem over-the-top, we shape our lives to that model as surely as water takes the form of the vessel in which it lies. |
What's your life's mission? |
My mission is to transform workplaces into life-affirming environments where the whole person is welcome to contribute, frolic and celebrate. I believe that the most profitable businesses are those that free us to be who we are, in all of our greatness and imperfection. I strive to create and transform workplaces in alignment with straightforward, common sense principles like:
- Match people with opportunities that play to their strengths.
- Build relationships based on trust and respect.
- Be willing to have the difficult conversations, remaining 100% respectful while being 100% candid.
- Commit to the greater good, vs. focusing on whose side of the boat is leaking!
- Honor commitments.
- Focus on results. Effort is nice, but results are better. There is no try. Declare outrageous possibilities and then call them into being through perseverance.
- Be willing to make mistakes, and let others do the same.
